Rehearsal sessions recorded live to 2-track in 2011. By their nature these recordings are raw and, at times, fairly lo-fi but this is where you'll hear us working out ideas on how to recreate the River Ghosts LP live, trying to figure out what kind of band we wanted to be as a duo*, and what we wanted the record after River Ghosts to sound like. All the music and lyrics are improvised on the spot, though you'll hear a few favourite motifs repeated as we tried to work them into proper compositions. Pretty much none of this material ever ended up on proper studio recordings which is a shame since this period of Moonwood was unique and a bridge between the early solo acid-folk recordings and the full rock band heard on Desert Ghosts.

*On two tracks we're joined by Stephen Wolf (Partli Cloudi, Summer Amp, New Yaki).
